How Nigerian regulation applies

Home-service work does not require a single national licence, but there are real obligations. Electrical work in residential premises is governed by the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) code; our electricians show their credentials where they hold them. The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 govern how we handle customer data. Lagos state consumer-protection regulations apply to service quality.

Pricing in naira

Sample rates (Lagos, April 2026): plumber call-out ₦6,000–₦12,000, electrical fault-find ₦8,000–₦15,000, one-bedroom deep clean ₦15,000–₦25,000, split AC service ₦8,000–₦14,000 per unit, interior painting ₦2,500–₦4,500 per m². Payments

Paystack, Flutterwave, Opay, Palmpay, Visa/Mastercard/Verve cards, and direct bank transfer via NIBSS Instant Payment. Transfers are particularly popular for larger jobs (₦50,000+) where card fees start to sting.

Trust and safety

Every professional goes through BVN / NIN verification, photo ID, and a reference check. We keep insurance documentation where the job demands it. Reviews are tied to completed bookings only — we do not allow drive-by reviews and there is no pay-to-promote layer.

Lagos (Ikeja, Victoria Island, Lekki, Surulere), Abuja, Port Harcourt; Ibadan, Kano and Benin City in the Q3 rollout. Pidgin-English UI is in the pipeline to reach mass-market users.
