1. Introduction
GeraHome is operated by Gera Systems (registered in England and Wales). These Terms govern your use of gerahome.com and our mobile applications.
2. Our Services
GeraHome is a home services marketplace connecting homeowners with vetted local tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, cleaners, gardeners, and more). We are an intermediary — not a service provider. All professionals are independent.
3. Account Registration
- Minimum age 18. Accurate information required.
- Report unauthorised access to support@gerahome.com.
4. Service Provider Obligations
Professionals confirm they:
- Hold required trade licences and certifications
- Carry valid public liability insurance (minimum £1 million recommended)
- Have consented to background checks
- Will complete work to a professional standard with full H&S compliance
- Will not solicit GeraHome customers off-platform for 12 months after introduction
5. Customer Obligations
- Provide accurate work descriptions and safe property access
- Pay through the platform only — off-platform payments void all buyer protections
6. GeraHome Guarantee
Dispute a completed job within 14 days via support@gerahome.com. Details at gerahome.com/help.
7. Payment Terms
Payments via Stripe. Commission shown at booking. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before appointment; late cancellations may incur a fee. UK statutory cancellation rights apply.
8. Acceptable Use
No fraudulent listings, fake reviews, off-platform solicitation, or illegal activity.
9. Limitation of Liability
Liability limited to amounts paid in the prior three months or £50 (whichever is greater). Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights are unaffected.
