How are cleaners vetted on GeraHome?
GeraHome has not launched yet, so no cleaner is listed or bookable today. Before listings go live at launch, every cleaner will submit identity documents for review by the Gera operations team, and where local law requires it the cleaner must hold a current criminal record check from their own jurisdiction. Ratings and reviews will only exist once real bookings have taken place.
What is included in a regular cleaning?
A regular clean covers all the essentials: vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, wiping down the kitchen and bathroom, making beds, and emptying bins. Cleaners follow a standard checklist to ensure consistent results. You can also add extras like oven cleaning or inside-fridge cleaning for an additional fee.
Do I need to provide cleaning products?
Most GeraHome cleaners bring their own eco-friendly cleaning products and equipment. When booking, you can specify preferences β such as if you have allergies or want specific products used. Some cleaners may ask you to provide a hoover if you prefer your own to be used.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee equal to 50% of the booking value to compensate the cleaner for their time. Emergency cancellations are reviewed case by case.
What if I am not satisfied with the cleaning?
Bookings are not open yet, so there is no satisfaction guarantee today. Any guarantee or rework promise will only be published once the service is live and the terms behind it are real.
